Applications include rapid prototyping, mold and die, one-offs, short runs, mass manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and tooling. With the same proprietary wire-feeding technology used in the manufacturer's wire EDMs, a simple command on the machine's CNC feeds the exact amount of wire to the target location. The feedstock, commercially available welding wire, is in front of the machine to simplify replacement.
